About TMB

Damilola Makinde is a neo-soul singer and multi-genre songwriter. He is also a published author, with his book listed on high-end platforms like Amazon. The sonic artist is otherwise known as The Musical Being or TMB for short. As a professional singer, the Nigerian-born artist has performed on many exclusive stages in different states in Nigeria. He has collaborated with some of the biggest organizations and brands, featuring alongside top Nigerian artists like Cobhams Asuquo, Johnny Drille, Made Kuti and more. Among the stages he has been on are Afrovibes, LiveSpot ShowCase, Sterling Bank x Zikoko’s StringsAttached, Nigeria Student Poetry Prize Awards, The Calabar Literary Festival, and the MUSAN concert (Oyo state chapter).

In 2021, he was the sole opening musical act for the Grand Bola Ige Memorial Play, staged exclusively for an esteemed audience of the family of the deceased and Oyo state dignitaries. He was duly mentioned in the event report by This Day newspaper. Just recently, he was the sole Musical act for the Grand TEDx Oluyole.
